My autistic teen son just turned 16 and every day I wonder what his life will be like as an adult. What will he do? Where will he live? Will he have girlfriends? Will he make friends? How long do I have before I am not able to do things for him anymore because of health reasons, death or just bad luck with people that take advantage of people like my son. This YouTube video gives me hope for a better tomorrow and that everything my hubby and I do for our son is enough until our last breath.
I hope you enjoy this YouTube TED Talk on Autism in Adulthood and that it helps you to dig deep into the lives of an autistic adult and what it is like every day. Enjoy and for those of you who are special needs parents like myself……Keep advocating It makes a difference and you matter!
