I was looking for a very simple & visual recipe that anyone can do, especially if they are a visual autistic learner like my son and came across this pizza recipe that is made with Pilsbury Brand Biscuits (Genius!!). They also had a video as well, which I have included above. Overall, this is a very straightforward recipe and there doesn’t seem to be anything that would be too confusing to my son. He loves pepperoni pizza (really any kind of pizza) and it does not always have to be from a restaurant chain either. I hope you have a moment to try this out with your son or daughter and that they enjoyed creating memories, as well as learning a new life skill recipe of a mini semi-homemade pepperoni pizza. Yay!
Ingredients
1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers Original Biscuits (8 Count)
1 cup pizza sauce (homemade will work or store bought from Amazon.)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
NOTE: The picture shows a 16oz container of shredded mozzarella cheese, so this is important to note if you are making more than one pizza then this bag will be enough. But if you are just making one individual pizza, then only 1/2 of this bag will be used.
1 package (3.5 oz) sliced pepperoni
Note: This package is 6 oz., so keep that in mind when prepping the pizza, so there is not too much pepperoni on that individual pizza, but if if is for two people, then this bag would be enough. If you are only preparing this pizza for yourself, then only using half of this pepperoni package is needed.
Steps
- 1. Press each biscuit into 6-inch round. Place on 2 large or 3 small, greased cookie sheets. Top each round with pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni.
2. Bake at 375°F 10 to 15 minutes or until bottoms are deep golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
3. Enjoy!
