Ingredients
1 lb. gnocchi
1 tbsp unsalted butter
½ sweet onion
½ tsp garlic mince
1/2-1 bunch of broccolini.
¼ cup chicken stock salt and pepper
½ tsp crushed chili
cheese
spinach
Steps
1. Fill pot over half full of water
2. Add 1 tablespoon of salt to water
3. Turn stove on to high heat
4. Wait until salted water boils
5. Add gnocchi to the boiling water using spoon- be careful, it is hot.
6. Cook until pasta floats to surface (4-5 minutes)
7. Turn off stove
8. Place strainer in sink
9. Drain gnocchi into strainer
10. Peel and dice onion
11. Wash and chop broccoli into smaller florets
12. Place onion and broccoli florets separately on plate
13. Wash chopping board
14. Slice sausage into small round pieces
15. Turn on stove / Turn on electric frypan to medium heat
16. Melt butter
17. Add onion
18. Saute (fry) for 4-5 minutes
19. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute
20. Add sliced sausage
21. Cook until brown on the inside
22. Add broccoli florets
23. Add chicken stock
24. Mix and bring to a simmer
25. Continue to mix for 5 minutes
26. Add spinach and mix well
27. Season with salt, pepper, and chili
28. Stir in gnocchi and cheese
29. Toss well until combined
30. Turn off stove
31. Plate and enjoy!
