We have been cooped up for over a year here in the US because of this pandemic and it would be so nice to get out to places that are safe and not so filled with so many people. That sounds so weird saying it out loud, but in these times you want to be able to travel places and safely without a virus wiping you and your entire loved ones out. In our case, we just have to be very mindful of where we travel and to where.
Titanium Screen Shield- Protect Your Device Against Germs & ScratchesOne of the best pastimes in the world is to travel. Whether traveling to a different country, state or a drive to somewhere else in your location. You will always find something new and interesting and learn how to enjoy your trip, especially in this time in our history. You will learn how to have an enjoyable trip by using the tips below.
Let Loved Ones Know Where You Are
Be sure a loved one has access to the itinerary of your trip. This is a great tip because it ensures that a non-traveler is always aware of where you are and what you are doing.
In addition, regularly call, text or email that family member so they know everything is okay with you.
Avoid Rush Hour Traffic
If traveling by car, it is important to avoid rush hour traffic. If you can’t plan your trip where you won’t be driving during rush hour, use that time to stop for a break and just enjoy the fresh air, get a snack or allow the kids some exercise.
Visa or No Visa
Determine if you will need a visa to visit your destination. Visas often have a lengthy processing time so you should apply for them as soon an you are thinking of travel. Sometimes you may not be allowed to enter certain countries without a visa.
Go Green
Go green on your next trip by securing services that are responsible to the environment and your safety in the midst of social distancing and otherwise. Many hotels used to reuse lines but because of COVID-19 they have found other ways to keep costs down, as well as keep their customers safe. They still use energy-efficient lighting and offer recycling bins for their guests, use low-flow plumbing and alternative energy sources. When you know where to look, you can find many ways to stay green even when you are on the road.
Book Travel Online
Booking travel online is a great way to get everything done all at once. Travel sites help you plan your travel itinerary with very little effort. You can make hotel reservations, schedule flights and set up rental cars with the use of your computer. One of the best parts is the fact that you can read reviews and find great discounts on your traveling costs.

You can have a great deal of fun at travel locations near your home. There are many things to do in your own home state or town. Remaining in a local area will support the community and allow you to save your money, less anxiety and you might find a gem nearby right in your own backyard!
Book Flights Early
Keep flight delays to a minimum by booking a flight as early in the morning as you can. Airports are usually pretty full, so if one gets delayed, the one after may get delayed as well since it must wait for those gates to open. The earliest flights have less chance of being late.
