I don’t know about you but our family LOVES macaroni and cheese, so when I found a variation macaroni and cheese recipe that looks similar to what we eat in our home, I had to share it with you all! This recipe can be done with the blue box stuff OR homemade. It all depends on how much time you have and what ingredients you have on hand as well. Overall have fun. Ingredients
- 2 tablespoonsButter
- 2 tablespoonsFlour
- 2 cupsWater
- 4 cupsMilk
- 12 ouncesMedium Shell Pasta (uncooked)
- ¾ teaspoonSalt
- ¼ teaspoonGarlic Powder
- ¼ teaspoonOnion Powder
- ½ teaspoonSmoked Paprika
- ¼ teaspoonBlack Pepper
- 4 cupsCheddar Cheese (shredded)
- 2 cupsSteamed Broccoli Florets
Directions
1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the flour, then whisk until combined, about 30 seconds.
2. Pour in the water and whisk until smooth and just thickened.
3. Add the milk and whisk until combined.
